Qualy ai op
is it just me that is fed up with how quick the ai are in qualying, I was 4th at Monaco and the session had ended then I drop down to 15th when it was a great lap in the force India I can never beat my team mate in qualifying

Do you have to restart carreer mode (PS4) for patch changes too take effect?
I'm 4 races into carreer. I'm driving for Toro Rosso and I was wondering, especially with patch 1.6 coming too PS4 one of these days, do I have to start a new carreer for all the patched issues to take full effect?

Performance issues since 2017/9/8 update
I don't know what did you change in the last update but since today i can't play the game because if i turn the graphics to the lowest setting the game crashes, when i use the original setting i have only 10-19 FPS in carierr mode, any game mode do not tested. The memory usage limited to 6 GB, the gpu burning, processor and hdd dieing. How can i roll back previous Version?

Pit stop release bug
Whenever I pit in career mode, even though I get in the pits with and advantage over the cars behind that also pit in the same lap as me, my team doesn't release my car before them. The tyres change, but then that red light stays on and the game waits for me to be passed by ALL the other cars that pit in the same lap as me to go by. Therefore, I lose all of those positions even though I had a 1s or more advantage over them on the track. At first, I thought it was because I had to improve my pit stop time in R&D, but I'm up to level 3 and this keeps happening.

F1 2017 Core competencies
So when you change teams in f1 2017 you lose all progress to your core competencies in the R&D tree??
I just finished my first season and went from McLaren to Force India. Obviously my R&D tree is different as it is a different team but I did not expect to lose the core ones that are more about your driver and not team.
Seems silly to me as it is punishing you for moving teams. Lose all your upgrade speed / driver bonus where you need 60 races as first driver and then you have to start it all again? Also do all the invitationals to get the upgrade speed and then just lose all your progress?
Is this correct or a bug?

2017 Resource points
Ive had f1 2017 for 3 days now amd im at the Hungarian gp season 1 at mclaren.
My first point is I've done 3 engine upgrades and I'm still miles away from Saubers engines. And I didn't like that.
My second point is that I feel you don't earn enough points to upgrade the mclaren. For example in real life teams bring car upgrades every race and engine upgrades around every 5 races.
In my opinion I feel like you should get more than 50 RP for completing one practice program I think it should be doubled or at least 75RP to make it slightly easier to bring upgrades regularly like in reality.
That or forecasters could bring RP packages for example pay £10 to get 15,000RP or something like that.
Or a quick buy in to buy all the quality upgrades and discount upgrades.
What are people's thoughts on this.

AI qualy modes and race fuel
So in 2016 the AI had a default set up and there speed trap figures never improved from practice so my question is do the AI use higher engines modes in qualifying this year. To even things up last year I had to do qualy in mix 2 so I didnt have a 10 kph on my team mate. (I used balanced defaulr too to since I do not think they set the car up).
Also in the races the default fuel was never close to the 100 kilos and in real F1 its all about saving but I could easily under fuel by 5 or 6 laps in mix 2 and have a nice boost for the first stint with over fuelled AI is this fixed too?

Off topic maybe, but would be nice to see Codemasters pick up the FE championship and add that alongside the F1 franchise.
Being a big fan of open wheel racing, I don't see the harm in this sitting alongside the F1 game.

What does it take to bring the safety car out?
I am on season two of my career and I have only seen the safety car once.
The AI have had huge crashes and nothing has happened.
There are sometimes broken down AI on various parts of the track causing yellow flags everywhere and still nothing happens.
I did an experiment in single race and crashed into the barrier to lose my wing then parked it backwards on the track and still nothing happened
What has everyone else experienced?
