AI backing out of overtakes when alongside

I'm still seeing in videos, the AI pulling up alongside the player's car to overtake but backing out before the braking zone. Even when a clear overtake is possible! It's so unrealistic and I can't believe CM haven't fixed it yet.

and don't say 'oh but you probably saw a preview build, the AI have got better for release'. seriously how gullible are you? ha.
