Hello there fellow racers,
as I have bought F1 2016 last night I surely wasn't expecting a perfect game given many things are often changed or fixxed in the aftermath of the launch, though I am a bit disappointed to see a basic menue function not working.
When hitting the Quickplay button, I can choose track, team and driver, which should be followed by a menue to change race duration, weather settings, all those things. Now, when I enter the loading screen, the screen instantly freezes and only gives me the sounds of switching options after a short amount of time. By pressing escape I can exit that menue and go to the race without any other settings changed.
Now as I am completely new as a driver in these kinds of games I would love to play some full races to get used to cars and strategy, but I can't because I can't change the options.
This is somewhat disturbing, yet as I already described not as huge of a deal, still I would love to see this fixed asap to give players like me a chance to fully enjoy the game and get used to it, rather than only doing 3-Lap rounds. I assume there are a couple of other bugs followed by this one to be found and they are somehow connected. On that note, when entering time-racing, you may chose the team, but then the same bug happens and you cant even chose the driver anymore, making timeracing impossible to do at the moment.
I have a high-end PC with low tempereatures on all aggregates when running the game with everything on maxed, the installation went flawlessly and I had the steam files checked to see if there were any corruptions of any files anywhere, it is clean though. Seems to be some sort of issue that happened during the download or a client-sided issue that needs to be resolved by the development team.
I would love to see a reponse to this to help me figure out a solution.
