So with F1 2016 being released in just over a month's time, lets have a look at what is wanted and what could be realistically added for the game:
One of the most popular demands was a warm up lap or formation lap. I believe this will be added. Codemasters has really listened to its community this year and I believe this is what they have added. However, I believe this will be optional, so you can choose if you want to do the formation lap or not.
Another aspect was the inclusion of a cool down lap. I believe this will not be added as it just won't make sense for an F1 game. I believe they will keep F1 2015s ending for a race, and then bring you to the results.
One of the not so popular ideas, but still one of them was pit lane control, and that you could control your car stopping in its box and turning for the garage, as well as leaving and entering the pits. Once again, I believe Codemasters will add this, but as optional.
Some other aspects I believe Codemasters will include is loopthe helmet designer, where you can actually design the helmet from scratch. However, I believe that you will have a certain amount of paint/whatever they want to call it so the helmet doesn't look completely destroyed or over the top.
With avatars, I believe you will get a choice between men and women, skin colour, hair style and colour and other facial features. Another aspect I believe will be added is the driver tags, which are the names of the drivers but this time, along with nationality flag, but you will have the option to turn this off.
Smaller features will be teammate choice in career mode, so lets say you joined Haas F1 Team and your teammate was Romain Grosjean but you wanted Esteban Gutierrez, you can swap Gutierrez in. More featurea are car number, which you will be able to place anywhere on your car within reason. You will be able to race at night time for all tracks, as Codemasters will sort out lighting issues, unlimited flashbacks, have close wheel to wheel racing with AI who will not concede so easily and a much more stable and less glitching online play.
The final point I would like to cover is damage and AI mistakes. I believe Codemasters will make damage an option in F1 2016. This means you get a choice on the realistic the damage is, which means no mods would have to be created and the player gets more of a choice. The last point I would like to cover is AI mistakes. I believe and really hope the AI do make much more mistakes. I personally believe Codemasters have added a feature where there will be a crash on most first, second or third corners on the race on the first lap, and this will affect you depending on the realistic damage. For example, I could see a spun out car in the wall at turn 1 in most races. Who knows, you may be an innocent victim yourself. But to do this, I believe Codemasters will add an AI realism option. The more realistic the AI, the more mistakes made and chances of crashes, spins and retirements.
So basically I have covered the popular ideas and aspects rumoured for F1 2016, and what I would like to see as well. I really hope you guys like what has been said here, and the ideas that could be implemented. Leave your thoughts and suggestions of what is right or wrong, and if this will really happen.
