I'm wondering if the development scope for the cars will actually enable the competitive order to change significantly, or if it will be like F1 2013, where it makes a difference, but not too significantly. I'm sure FOM wouldn't be too thrilled if the competitive order was flipped upside down and Sauber and Manor were winning races.
Also will team size influence development scope? Will it be easier to push through many developments as McLaren or Mercedes or Ferrari, but slower development with Sauber or Manor due to budget? And maybe non-manufacturer teams like RBR, STR, Williams, etc. be unable to work on engine upgrades since they aren't actually able to? Or will budget/team size be another thing that the player can try to improve in the process of building up the team? I guess we'll all know soon enough but just curious about the deets regarding car development.
