Ultimate AI is perfect - battle video

I just wanted to share this from last night. I started a new Pro Career, hoping to finish one season and hop straight into F1 2017 upon release. Around 28 laps in, a safety car for Marcus Ericsson's engine failure prompted a double-stack pitstop which put Fernando Alonso and I on the same strategy. I managed to get away on the restart, but that harrowing growl of the Honda engine grew louder and louder before he caught up to me again in the space of around five-six laps. He caught me napping into turn one, and since he was on the same strategy and one of my objectives is to beat my teammate, I threw down and gave chase. Easily the most I have gotten "in the zone", online or offline, in any sim race I have ever done. My thoughts usually wander, but here all I could think about was getting back past him. I was in a trance, and the car felt perfect and hooked up so well.

I'm just super satisfied with the difficulty of Ultimate drivers. They sometimes act like utter morons (earlier in the race, I was pit-manoeuvred by Nico Rosberg as I travelled in a completely straight line with tons of space...), but in terms of raw pace, I have to give it my all to keep up with them. This was easily the most I have ever been "in the zone" when simracing, regardless of title or online/offline. Total concentration. TRL Limitless says he has to put as much effort in with Ultimate as he would in any online league race and I completely agree. Hopefully F1 2017 doesn't nerf this.

Just wanted to state my extreme satisfaction with the level of competition offline and I already have the next title preordered; it can only be an improvement. Cheers
