I'm a huge fan of F1 2016. Most time I spent driving laps in time trail mode, love to beat my own times with 0,01 and 0,001 of a second!
Of course I drive a race once in a while. But from the beginning I struggle with race pace.
I mostly qualify on the fronts spots, but in the race (25% distance) it goes wrong.. A few things I can't control:
- Opponents are way faster on straights, so in the end (if the race is long enough) they will all pass me.. Even a Sauber (when I'm in Mercedes..).
- Lack of grip. From the start of the race my car feels heavy (same setup in Time Trail is magnificant though) and I 'slide' almost out of every corner, losing lots of speed. And a big change to spin out of the race..
My global settings are AI on Medium, Traction Control medium, Xbox One controller.
I like challenge, so an easier AI is no option for me. Anyone have some tips so I can improve and actually compete with the AI?
Thanks in advance!
