I am very much looking forward to the new game this year and I know a lot of development work has to go into a new driving model because of the new cars. At least I hope so.
But what really has to be addressed is the problem with ghosting in single player.
I just had a race where I went to my first scheduled pitstop when suddenly the safety car came out. In the pit exit I got a warning, that my delta time is too low (which means I am too fast). When I slowed down to comply, all of the cars behind me which were also in the pits just passed straight through me. I lost 5 places because of this and it ruined the race and of course also the gaming experience.
So please codemasters. Address this issue. Ghosting isn't necessary in single player. And it should be optional in multiplayer too.
