I just thought of a great idea for this upcoming F1 2017 game. In career mode, if you happen to be involved in a crash or you make a mistake causing major damage to the car, I think it would be a great idea for players to have the option of flashback/restart toggled off or on in the career settings. Those who want to flashback or restart after being knocked out of qualifying/race can keep the option on but for those who want authenticity by having the game carry them over to the next round after retiring from too much damage or some kind of mechanical failure can have the option turned off. I know that in F1 2016 you can choose to restart or retire but that's during the session but I'm talking about toggling the option on or off while you're choosing the settings in career mode before actually starting career mode.
