F1 2017 - Beta Testing

Hi All

Apologies if this has already been covered but I couldn't find a more appropriate place to post.

I applied to take part in the beta testing for F1 2017 (PS4) and wondered how the selection process works? Is it random or dependent on participation on the forums?

Would love to take part but just wanted to know if I was wasting my time or not. Also, any idea when the selected people would be informed?
