Leaving in qualifying causing jump starts

It's become pretty well known in the league racing community that if you leave and rejoin during qualifying, then your 5 lights in the race go out before everyone else, giving you a jump start that goes unpunished. It often causes complete carnage, and sometimes when the car ahead gets hit they can be DSQed before the race has even started. This is a fundamental flaw in the online game and has frequently caused issues in league races.
