This is beyond a joke. I've done lots of testing around Austria and there is such a monumental difference in wear depending on what tyres you start on.
One race I did I started on ultra softs, and need to do a 3 stopper, putting on a set of softs on L22 to go to the end and finished with 83% wear after 14 laps.
The very next race I started on softs and was able to go to L25 before hitting 83% wear, and was then able to fit a set of ultra softs and do the final 11 laps and not hit 50% wear.
This is honestly game-breaking, especially for league racers, as people who qualify inside the top 10 are beyond screwed because their tyre wear is nearly double that of some of their competitors
