Another potentially game-breaking "feature" has just emerged in front of my eyes. I'll keep it short - I started in Renault, the difficulty was probably set a bit too low (Legend) and after few upgrades around Baku/Austria I started challenging for podiums. Belgium onwards, I got quite a few wins. In fact, I managed to get so many points that I finished 2nd in the WDC.
I guess I can also add that I'm playing full weekend (incl. 100% races) so I'm bagging quite a lot of R&D pts.
Anyway, my Renault is now a front-runner in the second season and I switch to Ultimate. In the first 10 races, I got something like 6 wins, 3 podiums and 4th in Hungary (cuz I'm shite there). Car is now fully upgraded and I literally win every single race until the end. It did get boring at some point but actually it wasn't as dominant as it seemed, there were hard battles and I won maybe 3 races with a gap more than 7-8s. So I decide, it's time to switch teams and my beloved Ferrari have crumbled to 5th best car on the grid. Perfect chance to go there and have some fun until the car is competitive.
But guess what, come season end and I have scored 450+ pts, won the WDC in frikkin Singapore, I get contact offers from Haas (2nd worst car), Toro Rosso (3rd worst car) and Force India (6 or 7th best car). What the actual f--- Codies??! And to be their 2nd driver, mind you
