Rivalry makes sense for once?

So I'm with the Force India Team with Hulkenberg as my teammate and I have to admit my career is just so fun. But the rivalry - the topic - well. In Australia it rained in the race, I came 13th a boring race, only one or two battles with Nico H. Who came 14th, but in Bahrain I started 4th, by lap 10 I was second but pitted and came out 9th, behind Sainz. Who had undercutted me, I had a thrilling battle with him and I came out on top, his tyres gave away at the end, and he came 8th - and I came 6th, onto China which was really bizarre, I got pole because the wet glitch happened where AI don't go out, Pascal Wherlein got tenth and the top runners where 4th, 7th, 13th, 16th, 19th, 21st. - Mercedes - Red Bull and Ferrari. Anyhow Race went on P2, Safety Car came out lap 17. Kimi and Bottas pit for Supers whilst I went for Mediums, Bottas retired as soon as the Safety car came in and Kimi pit, So the top 3 was Me, SAINZ and Grosjean, Grosjean Pit I think so Kimi took his place but was 20 seconds behind, so me and Carlos met again, after 8 thrilling laps, I locked up at the hairpin in China, Sainz took the win and I came second, but I beat Nico H in the Rivalry, Now correct me if I'm wrong but the Rivalry works where the driver below you in the standings is your new rival well what I've found. So this would mean Daniel Ricciardo would be my rival, I was dreading that moment, BTW I'M ON ULTIMATE, but it was Sainz to my delight who was ahead of me, I was surprised and happy I have a rival who is actually my rival on track

Do you guys have any Realistic rivalries where someone you battle a lot becomes your rival.
