Xbox One Online - Post Patch

I am having huge issues connecting to games following the latest patch.

When joining sprint lobbies the game seems to lock up sporadically and peoples pings are all over the place, it seems to have a huge lag on joining and sitting in lobbies.

Also, its taking a lot longer to find games with the failed to join message coming up much more often than before.

Is anyone else having issues with this? I regularly race with a friend and he is having the same sort of problems as me.
