So I've been quite against this change... and thought Red Bull's aeroscreen was much better from a viewers perspective. But unfortunately It seems in 2017 there will be an annoying halo style device around the drivers cockpit, that I'm sure will make the cockpit/Tcam cameras very different from a viewers perspective. Then I started thinking about the video games and how annoying it would be driving using the Tcam view or even cockpit with this halo device constantly in your view. Am I the only one who thinks this will make the game less enjoyable than they are with the full open cockpit, the way It's always been.
F1 2016 the game may be the last ever F1 game we see with a full open cockpit and that saddens me greatly. F1 cars are suppose to be sexy, and I think the halo device will look horrible. What does everyone else think, will it affect the visual immersion of cockpit/Tcam in the game or not?. Personally I think it definitely will for me I like seeing the drivers helmet and head bobbing and moving under g-force stress, this device may take most of that away.
